Grungy Monday on Wednesday

Well, I guess this is it.  First Challenge, first blog, first time posting. The challenge is here:  Grungy Monday 1 based on Tim Holtz technique here: 12 tags of Christmas - day 10.  For me, this was the best part:  I didn’t have a suitable mask, so I made my own.  I stuck painters tape (the blue masking tape) on the elegant flourishes die and ran it through the sizzix.  I peeled it off, attached it to my tag, and followed the rest of Tim’s technique.  The tape came off with no problem.

Thanks Linda!

  7. Your tag is gorgeous! I love the painters tape idea! ! Congrats on your new blog. Can't wait to see more of your creations. :-)

BTW, I just kinda laid my acetate masks on the tag and spritzed. If I hadnt been lazy, I would have used spray adhesive and made them a little more secure.
